Dr. Yssra Soliman is a highly accomplished dermatologist with a distinguished background in both clinical dermatology and research, with a particular focus on complex medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, pediatric dermatology, oncodermatology, and global health and healthcare disparities. Patients consistently praise Dr. Soliman for her compassionate care, meticulous consultations, and personalized treatment plans.

Dr. Soliman completed her dermatology residency at Columbia University New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she was celebrated for her clinical excellence and leadership. She began her medical career at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, earning her MD and completing a Senior Clinical Research Fellowship. She also completed her preliminary year in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Her groundbreaking work in understanding and addressing healthcare disparities, particularly in conditions like hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), has significantly advanced the field.

From 2017 to 2019, Dr. Soliman served as a Clinical Research Fellow under Dr. Steven R. Cohen at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center. During this fellowship, she conducted pivotal research on the pathophysiology, treatment, and disparities in HS. She managed several clinical trials, wrote IRBs and grants, and made substantial contributions to the understanding of this complex condition.
