Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly with most plans. A few HMO plans require a referral from your primary care physician; if yours does, we will tell you before the visit and can help you request it.
Is a video visit covered like an in-person visit?
With most plans, yes. Telehealth dermatology is billed as a specialist visit, with the same copay or coinsurance as an office visit. We verify your benefits before the appointment so there are no surprises.
What if my plan is not accepted, or I have no insurance?
You can still be seen. We offer transparent self-pay pricing, and many plans reimburse out-of-network telehealth visits; we provide the documentation you need to submit a claim. Ask when you book or call (917) 382-0901.
