Toral Vaidya, MD, MPH, is a board certified dermatologist based in New York City specializing in skincare consultations, medical dermatology, skin of color, and cosmetics. She performs a wide variety of medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology services. 

She earned her MD and Master’s in Public Health from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Vaidya was selected for a prestigious clinical research fellowship in dermatology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she conducted studies in oncodermatology and procedural dermatology. She graduated at the top of her class with a Distinction in Dermatology. She then completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and her residency in Dermatology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.  

Throughout her training, she developed a keen interest in skincare, skin of color, and cosmetic dermatology. She has authored over 20 scientific publications in prominent dermatology journals and has presented her work at national and international meetings. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Skin of Color Society, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.  

Dr. Vaidya is a media expert who regularly writes for and contributes to medical and beauty publications, including Medscape Dermatology, US News and World Report, and Byrdie Beauty. Additionally, she pursued an elective in medical journalism at the ABC News Medical Unit, where she helped produce medical segments for Good Morning America and wrote digital articles.  

Dr. Vaidya's interests in aesthetics and procedural dermatology are complemented by her certification in Fashion Design and Garment Construction from Parsons School of Design in New York City. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring the arts.
