Dr. Shawn Shih is a highly skilled and compassionate board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Shih provides expert care for a wide range of conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, hair loss, hidradenitis suppurativa, melasma, and skin cancer. He also excels in cosmetic dermatology, combining advanced techniques to treat scars, hyperpigmentation, and wrinkles, delivering natural and transformative results tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Dr. Shih received his bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley. He completed his medical degree at University of Central Florida, College of Medicine, followed by an internship at his home program in Orlando, Florida. He completed dermatology residency at Boston University, where he trained with world experts in hair loss and skin of color. Dr. Shih was the recipient of the prestigious Skin of Color Society Research Award. He has authored numerous book chapters and publications in top peer-reviewed dermatology journals.

Originally from Taiwan, Dr. Shih is fluent Mandarin. Outside of his clinical practice, he enjoys staying active at the gym, dancing, playing piano, and singing karaoke.
