What excites you about telemedicine?
I’ve been a virtual care doctor since before covid and I love making care convenient and accessible.

What's your academic and professional background?
I completed my internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt and fellowship at Weill Cornell. I’ve practiced both at NYU and the VA hospital in Manhattan.

What excites you about working with Tono?
It’s exciting to see Tono making speciality care more accessible with less wait times, more convenient hours, and an amazing team of clinicians.

What made you decide to go into endocrinology?
I went into endocrinology because I love long-term relationships with patients and managing complex, chronic conditions.

What is your favorite part of working in this specialty?
Being able to help patients take control of their chronic conditions is really rewarding.

What is an exciting development in your area of medicine?
The most exciting advancements have been in the field of obesity medicine and diabetes. There are new groundbreaking medication treatments for weight loss and diabetes that help patients feel better and ultimately lower their risk of cardiovascular disease.

What advice do you have for people looking to improve their endocrinologic health?
Be patient and work with your provider to create a plan that works for you. Everyone is different and requires an individualized approach to treating their condition.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to spend time with my kids (ages 5, 3, and 1), enjoy restaurants in NYC, travel, and exercise.
